Kate & Adam

Montgomery, Wales

This weekend was so great to be involved with, I travelled on the Friday evening from my home in North Yorkshire, to North Wales, a small village called "Knockin" in fact.

At this point I should put in a mention for the lovely B&B I booked for the weekend called "The Old Forge", which was very affordable, comfy and had amazing WiFi access, and it happened to be next door to a lovely country pub..

Anyway, with my 200+ mile journey out of the way, a great nights rest and awesome breakfast, I met up with the bride and enjoyed a few relaxed hours snapping some pictures of the bride having her hair and make up session, her young son was on hand also to steal the show a little bit.

The service was held at the local church a few miles away, this was the usual tricky affair where I was not allowed to take any pictures from anywhere other than the back of the church, thankfully I managed to get some good footage & images of things, before the wedding party swiftly moved on the local town hall, where the celebrations could really get underway.

Kate had already mentioned to me the idea of taking some time out to visit the local ruins of Montgomery Castle for some pictures, the weather did us some favours as we headed there, and we got some great shots, despite the incredible wind, and had some laughs as well.

Cutting of the cake, first dance and beers all came to quick before I headed back to my lodgings, exhausted, but satisfied..

Thanks again to Kate & Adam for being such great fun to work with.
